IV. ∿ video
[This is a familiar sight for those of you that were around for his first video post; Souji is in a kitchen for the partnered apartments, though he doesn't seem to notice that the camera's begun recording after he set the communicator down on the counter. Walking away from it, it appears that he's talking to the other residents of the apartment, a dishtowel in hand. He looks much better than his last video post, but the bandages on his upper arms and part of his neck are visible, especially with shorter sleeves since it's been so damn hot lately.]
I can't just sit around and do nothing, I already spent practically a week doing that. At least let me do this, all right? I promise, nothing strenuous. And after everything you've done for me... [a pause.] Well, making breakfast is the least I can do for you.
[Despite the weight that he's still obviously carrying, he does take on a brief tone of amusement.]
Though if you really want to help, I certainly wouldn't kick you out of your own kitchen.
[He still hasn't realized that the PDA is picking up the events of Chinadarise, and is paying more attention to the conversation at hand. He was going to wait until after breakfast to make a post to the network, but this will do just as well.]
