Ugghhh. Death City, Nevada. [There's a soft "pffft" sound of someone trying to work a cigarette lighter] Couldn't get Vegas in it's glory days, could I? Hell, couldn't even get Reno. Nooooo, I get some smelly [pffft] twisted [pffft] version of Nevada. [pfffffft] Just when I thought anything Earth related couldn't get any crappier....
[An unintelligible grumble is followed by the clatter of metal against wood as Faye tosses her cigarette and the uncooperative lighter aside. Realizing the communicator is recording, she reaches over and turns on the video.]
Aha ha. I suppose I should get around to introducing myself, huh? Name's Faye Valentine. [A moment of silence passes while she debates about asking after Jet, and Edward, and... She just can't and so beams at the screen instead.]
Say~ I know supplies are low, but what's a girl got to do to find a decent drink around here? I could really go for one right about now.
