[The feed begins with a quiet thunk as the communicator is set down upon a thin metal surface. It's night time and the sounds of a thunderstorm rage in the background, and visibility is poor at best. Still, a man in blue and a man in red are visible, even if they appear mildly blurry.]
[The first turns his head slightly in the direction of the second inquiringly.]
...Best be on our guard. [The one in blue simply nods and the two take a step further into the darkness of the alley and simply pause, waiting and listening. The moment stretches out, before:]
...Genesis. [Fulfilling the subtle request, there is a brief flash of red light and he briefly dematerializes, only for his form to be replaced by a five-foot broadsword with an elaborate rapier hilt. Vergil reaches across with his right hand and grips it firmly, until an ethereal crimson aura begins to emit from the blade.]
[It's then that a much larger silhouette suddenly blocks out what little light reaches the alleyway and grows slowly larger, as if about to envelop the two. Without even turning to look, the Meister arcs the Weapon around and violently stabs backwards into its looming form, impaling it to the hilt. He twists the sword sharply and suddenly a storm of red bursts clean through it, radiating a bright pulse of light.]
[When Vergil turns around, there only seems to be a pile of mud left and a messy splatter along the alley walls.]
Don't suppose you managed a decent look at it before it was annihilated. [The sword is risen to bathe the surroundings in the light of its aura while the mud remains are examined.]
I've looked enough.
Maybe your power was a little too effective. [There's a disembodied sound of amusement from Genesis in reply.]
Well then, that's satisfactory work. [It's mirrored, and then Vergil turns towards the strategically-placed communicator and pauses before going to switch off the recording.]
