I've caught some of the discussions on the network, regarding the kidnappings - some of you are also doing your own investigations into the matter, which is good. My only request is that you share whatever you've found with the rest of us. I've said this before, and I'll say it again: the more info we have, the better.
In that light, I'd like to give a report of my own. Tassadar and I attempted to retrace Doctor John Watson's steps on the night that he disappeared. Tassadar did most of the work, of course, so it's the least that I could do to try and put everything together [Linking a text file for download.] That document contains everything that you might want to know, but I'll summarize it here for the sake of those who might have difficulty reading something like that. [Yes, Toph, he remembered this time.]
First: we can confirm that sand constructs are being used to nab the victims. It's ideal that way, I think, as such things would be difficult to fight against, and would leave close to no trace behind.
Second: the sand constructs drag the victims out of Death City, where they're transported to wherever the kidnappers want them to be by a burrowing creature. I can't exactly say what it is yet, but one thing is for certain - it'd have to be pretty large to be able to carry people. Whatever it is, it also leaves no trace of itself beyond its scent: there are no tunnels to follow, and no prints.
...As you can see, there isn't much to go by, and we're hard pressed to think that it could've been any other group beyond the witches doing this. I'm not one to speculate on why they would need to kidnap people rather than outright kill them, and I do believe that Light Asahi has started up a discussion of his own on the matter.
My main focus, of course, is making sure that we don't lose more of us.
Again: if any of you have anything to share, let me know. Even the tiniest details will help at this point.

If any of you guys manage to stop a kidnapping attempt, or know of someone who has, give me a full report on the incident. Make it as detailed as possible.
Stay on your toes, as well. We may do a little more training and a lot more missions than the others, but that doesn't make us any less vulnerable.
...Ah, one last thing. I'd like to request that all of you avoid going on missions until things settle down. I want to be able to keep track of the lot of you as best as I can, and I want to make sure that I have every hand available here, since it's clear that the City needs us.
