[The communicator is new, since Giriko destroyed Spirit’s. The feed starts out as a silent voice post at first, before the video recording finally turns on to Spirit’s face. He’s in a corner of the clinic in what you can identify as a hospital gown. He’s pale and left eye is heavily bandaged, as well as his neck, but he looks fine otherwise. Just sad.]

About... about those two. Remember when I told you that there are some neutral witches in existence? Those two are -- were -- some of them. They were witches we caught a while back, and were harmless enough that Shibusen exonerated their crimes and allowed them to live and work peacefully in the city. I’ve known them for a long time since I’m usually at their... place of work. [fidget]
They wouldn’t hurt me of their own accord. The witches who tried to kill me were Risa and Arisa, but at the same time not. [Quickly.] I believe they were possessed, or... or forced into it. [He doesn’t look so sure.] The girls had black blood. Black blood is an experiment by the witch known as Medusa Gorgon, who’s been a pain in Shibusen’s ass for a long time now, and the blood has been known to turn its victims stronger by ten, destructive and vicious. Medusa has been considered dead for a while now, after a skirmish with Shibusen, but I think this is a good indication as any that she’s still alive.
But possessed or not, it doesn’t change anything. They’re our enemies now. [The betrayal doesn’t hurt any less. Spirit shakes his head, and the video is obscured by half as he clutches at the communicator.] First, we get the kidnapped victims back. And then we’re winning this war.
