[The camera scene starts with moving slowly over the various buildings of Death City, paying particular attention to alleyways and street names before it slowly rotates to focus on the building she had just walked out of. It’s the building where Shibusen orients the new arrivals before sending them to find housing.]
Current location is ‘Death City’, Nevada of the United States of America. There is no knowledge of the Terran Confederacy or Tarsonis, and surface thoughts appear truthful.
[The female voice stops to turn the camera back towards the rest of the city, and she starts to walk towards the taller buildings. The camera always pauses to focus on street names and what she perceives as major buildings and never on people passing by on the street.]
They are amid a war on ‘witches’, and have a technological device that brought people from other times and places to this one. While apparently truthful, that is highly improbable.
