Listen up, guys. [Here is Spirit, looking just like usual if maybe a little annoyed at something.] It’s been a bit peaceful lately, and some of our best students have come back from their missions. So we at Shibusen thought that maybe you guys would like to see the world outside of Death City and the desert. We’ve arranged for a short cruise on the morning of the 26th to the islands of the Maldives. [He pauses just a little to link this.]
We’ve scouted it already and everything, so it’s safe there. You don’t have to come if you don’t want to, but for those who are coming, show up at Shibusen at eight in the morning on the 26th. We’ll be back by noon of the 27th. [nod nod, and puts the script for that aside.]
Now. We’ve been having some instances of guests bullying guests lately. [His face turns into a mask of very intense and cold fury. And now we see why he’s less cheerful than usual.] Cut it out. It’s one thing to challenge your peers to fair fights, but if you’re going to pick on other guests to harm them for no reason, I swear I’ll have you working community service for so long you’ll know the name of every single brick in this city. That, or you’re going straight to prison. We don’t tolerate that sort of behaviour from our own students, and we’re not going to tolerate that from anyone else.

Just making sure, but-- you know about the sway of magic, right? Witch magic is naturally destructive, which affects the witches’ instincts to be the same. That’s why... they do what they do. [Scratches the back of his neck.] But when witches are young, the destructive nature of the magic hasn’t developed yet, and we think this is the state you guys are in now. If you continue using this magic that you were given, we can’t guarantee that the sway won’t take hold of you, so... please be careful, all right? We don’t know much about the kind of magic you have and Stein is still studying it. Please come to him once a week or for a check. I’ll come with you for all your sessions if you like.
[vague gesture] And if you notice any changes in yourself -- personality, that sort of thing -- inform me immediately. I’m not saying this to make you worried, but it’s important that we catch anything that happens before it goes too far. I think you guys are tough and that you’ll be all right, though!
