[Rei appears on the network again, her face set into an impossibly calm, bordering on emotionless expression. Or lack of expression.
Her jaw works as she struggles to find out something to say--on her skin is a bright blue tattoo mark, similar to what she was wearing on her costume, though she's clearly in her normal clothing and the blue that had been painting her skin to give her the 'dead' look is gone. The tattoo remains, very very real, curling up near her face (See: icon)]
...I might not make it through the night, if I fall asleep. This tattoo could be my death. [it's said very calmly, as if Rei's discussing how blue the sky is that day. She's resigned herself to this fate, should it happen. She's not sure if the entire curse is back, or if it's just her tattoo, but she's not about to take any chances to find out]
I thought it best everyone should know, so if I should die that no one's left wondering what happened.
[She quiet again and for the first time the expressionless mask breaks as Rei squeezes her eyes shut. Calm. she needs to be calm. She knew this would be coming long ago, but at the time she'd had no one and it was easier to face.
Rei then quickly opens her eyes, not wanting to be lured into sleep]
I... I just want to make sure everyone's alright. Please...check in with me. I need to know.
