did you ever think that you could possibly have a case of depression? you should go to the doctor.

*hugs* I can really understand how you feel with feeling detached from the pregnancy. I felt the same way but didn't tell anyone about it. For myself I think it was came from the miscarriage I had before hand. But I would find someone to talk to about it if anything else to vent.

But your friend is right maybe you should talk to a doctor about it to, you may not be able to take anything right now but they may put you on something after to help with the post partum.

thing is meds dont work for me.
i have been on all sorts of meds from the age of 10 up....
i do better with talk therpy, but most shrinks dont want to do that. they just want to re diagnose and give me there brand of meds.....

i was on meds when i was preg for the same thing. perhaps you should give it a try. maybe your body will be more suseptable since your hormones are acting differently now.

IMO, if you want to do talk therapy, then do it. Hell, you're PAYING the shrink to sit there and listen to you. It's their damn job. If they can't do that for you, then you need to ask them to recommend someone who will do it. Don't let these doctors and psych.'s fool you. You are paying them to do a service. If they do not do the service, or the service is incomplete or unsatisfactory, then don't pay them. At the very least, you need to bring it up to them that "Hey, I don't need more meds, asshole. I know what I need. So either you can help me do the thing I need or you can recommend someone who will. End of story ( ... )

Oh. Well, still. =P The government shouldn't be getting paid if the service being rendered isn't what you want ::firm nod::

And I'm sorry you're still not feeling well =( I wish I could find something that would help...

The only feeling I would know is the depression part. It's probably worse for you knowing that the depression won't go away until after you have had the twins. I have heard that people get depressed during pregnancy. It's probably all of the stress. I don't have children so I can't begin to say how to help things.
