haha you should try Crichton's latest novel. it's about animals talking? I read the first few chapters and couldn't get any farther. a better book is probably "The Andromeda Strain". If you're interested in these medical thrillers though, "Gravity" by Tess Gerritsen was pretty good. Kind of out there, but really creepy at the same time.
