Description: Cloud and Kurapika head out of the city to inspect a ruin or two.
In they end they just decided to take the mirror so as not to waste time--rather reckless of him to ask to head out right away, in retrospect, but if it was just battle, then he only had to bring himself, yes? But Kurapika did retain the foresight to drop by a convenience store along the way to the school and purchase bottles of water and prepacked sandwiches, which he stuffed in a knapsack. Ruins outside the city in the middle of the desert probably meant that they wouldn't be able to find food or water easily. And there was something he wanted to try with regards to bringing luggage during missions.
He looked around him as he and Cloud stepped out of the mirror, and then back at the other blond in front. "Charming," he muttered. When they said ruins, they really meant ruins. The place looked like half a ghost town and half bombed-out village. Not exactly pleasant as far as locations went.
