Description: Kuroro is on a mission to replenish his funds because a certain mutual friend took a huge bite out of his shared account with Kurapika. They're going for training purposes, really.
He had to hand it to Kuroro; the man had the best timing when it came to choosing and scheduling missions. Kurapika wanted to brood over the messages he'd gotten from Yuuri--or the one from future Mukuro, in particular, and he did not want Kuroro finding out about it through their mental link.
He couldn't just refuse to go despite the chaotic state of his thoughts, however. The information Kanda and Yuuri and Winry had given them, and the escalating witch attacks only proved that he needed to get stronger more quickly. If by their efforts, he'd be able to help end the war sooner than the future Kanda had told him about, then he wasn't about to let up on his training. The future wasn't set in stone, anyway. The event future Mukuro was alluding to might never even come to pass. And he was damn well not going to let the war last for another ten years now that he knew about it. Dear god, to be stuck with Kuroro for ten years...
And that wasn't his only problem. Kurapika hid his scowl as he stepped through the mirror and into the wet and cold of Paris in September. It was drizzling slightly, which was a welcome change from the arid conditions in Nevada, and it was awfully cold--but it wasn't as bad as the negative zero temperatures he had to put up with in Russia.
Eiffel Tower loomed tall and almost imposing over the buildings in front of them, and the sight momentarily distracted him from Mukuro's message. He stepped away from the mirror and looked around curiously as he waited for Kuroro to get through.
