Great isn't it! My mother was supposed to be coming down to Nottingham from Lincoln that day.

Instead we've had to arrange for an alternative method of transport. (winged goose)

WTF??? Central Trains never seem to have any conductors anyway!!!

Thanks for the warning. Funny how rail strikes always seem to coincide with bank holiday weekends...

I may have to bring my arrival forward to Saturday - I assume that's cool with your folks. I'll confirm once I know how much trouble I'm in for skipping whatever I was doing on Saturday evening. ;)

It's not the going over, it's the coming back. No trains on New Years Day = Not getting back in time for work on 2nd. And I can't get the day off.
