Is it bad to have no patience with the general public?

I only ask as I was watching a report on the news about the current problems with Heathrow and the continued cancellation of BA flights. BA have put up large marquees for people to stay in and are offering hot Christmas pudding to keep people warm. Apparently they are terribly mean to offer free hot, sugary, stodgy food that will keep people warm ( Read more... )

The queues started last Saturday, I spent 3 hours standing in one...
That said, I am very glad I flew out a week earlier than originally planned.

no, they should be angry, for bae/ba are god and as such should not have allowed pesky fog to stop flights the week before christmas ;)

With you there my dear. Yes it's flipping annoying being stuck an airport, but for all their faults BA's only doing this for safety reasons. And lets face it they're going to be taking a big financial hit - if there was anyway they could get the flights off the ground - they would be!

Although interesting to note that East-Midlands airport seems to be working pretty normally...

BA and the BAA should be using some sort of giant fan arrangement to blow the fog to Belgium where it will raise the general interest level of the country. Their total failure to use such a contraption is well worthy of riot by a bunch of miserable fuckers who would rather spend Christmas in Aruba.
