Im absolutely terrified of the dark. People here don't sleep. A number of reasons why:
1) they are farmers, they stay up till 10pm tending the fields, and wake up at 5am to tend them again.
2) The sun doesnt set. it gets dark around 11:30 every night here, and the sun rises at about 4am.
