I asked this on the other relevant post, but I assume it got burried so I'll ask it here! Given that last year a LOT of people bought each other paid time/icons for accounts in SC, can we just flat out postpone this until it's final whether we're moving to DW or not (and if we do move, until it's actually starting to happen)?

My reasoning:

- Not knowing what website the game will be on in a few months means that nobody's gonna know where to ask for paid time for.
- If we do end up moving to DW, it won't be for at least a month. Why buy paids now?
- A lot of people asked for LJ time when the post went up -- what if they don't want it anymore and don't get around to changing their wishlists at the last minute? And if they do change it, what if the person giving them stuff doesn't see and doesn't think to ask them?

Basically there are already people in the game who don't want to move due to have paid for stuff on LJ and right now this just seems like a way to give MORE people that problem.

Oh, this is actually a good idea especially since everything's pretty crazy. If no one else minds the delay, then we can do this!

Lol, maybe we can even get more participants if anyone still wants in.

(It also occurs to me that people who were originally planning to spend money can always switch to giving fic/art/whatever, but even in that case postponing things still makes sense because it's really short notice.)
