Almost forgot about this journal

I've been giving it a lot of thought and I don't think we'll celebrate Easter this year. I personally don't want to even do an egg hunt for the kids. I don't believe in the "faith" aspects of easter at all and it's a crock to celebrate in something I don't believe in. It's really a long story about how I found this journal, but I scrolled down the page a little bit and read your previous entries. After finishing, I felt really compelled to introduce myself, because I'm a Christian. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure I'm not like the rest of them (I go to a school founded by the President of Soka Gakkai International, a lay Buddhist organization and about 90% of the student population is Buddhist, including my roommate ( ... )

Hi Jessica, it's nice to meet ya! This is soul_study btw, I'm just responding from my home journal user name.

Don't worry, I'm not Christian phobic in the least! I love meeting all kinds of people no matter what faith or denomination. An open minded heart breeds friendships of all kinds!

I go through phases where I'm active on this lj and other times when I'm not. I'm struggling to find a UU community within my own community and it is proving more difficult than I originally thought.

Anyway, it's great to meet you and feel free to pop in any time~

Thanks. I just hate to hear about people having bad experiences with Christians. I really feel obligated to apoligize and explain.
