Byakuei
Nickname: Shiro, as named by Kagura.
Regular form: [image] Shiro is usually in the form of a small puppy-ish critter. It's still attached by spiritual chains to Kagura, which loops around its neck like a collar, and comes and goes from her back as it pleases. She sometimes walks it like a real dog. It's basically cute and cuddly in this form and is ineffectual in battle.
Battle form: [image] Byakuei takes on a larger form for battle. Its primary mode of attack in this form seems to be a spiritual sword... thing (see below) rather than voring, though theoretically it can still bite and claw.
Sword thing: idk what it is, it looks like one of those double-ended light sabres to be. ANYWAY. Byakuei actually takes it in its mouth to fight with this, but it looks like it's more intended for Kagura to use -- which she does! Decently well, at that.
Spiritual pings: Since the battle with the Kyuubi seems to have taken care of the Sesshouseki, Shiro probably pings as a regular (yet massively powerful) spiritual beast instead of the massive cloud of evil it previously did.
Connection to Kagura: Shiro is still connected to Kagura's soul! Canon hasn't stated if anything has changed in that regard, so I'm going with what was already established unless future canon says otherwise. Which means! Shiro is connected to Kagura's soul, so any injury done to Shiro is mirrored on her. The seal on Shiro is fueled by Kagura's spiritual power and is constantly burning through it, it means that eventually someday it will kill her when that power runs out.
