I watched my first MRT sunset today.  I'm sure I've caught them before, but I've never really watched them until this afternoon.  The sun has a way of coloring the Pasig river and the surrounding Guadalupe / Makati area pink, almost idyllic.  The clutter and billboards become shifting silhouettes in the foreground, while the skyscrapers in the ( Read more... )

i know it's different but for what it's worth, i've known one of my best friends for twelve years already and ten out of those twelve, she's in canada (i think you know this story already). i've only seen her once since they migrated but we're still really really good friends, kahit na minsan inaabot nang ilang buwan na hindi kami nakakapag-usap. pasalamat na lang tayo at may internet na. pwede na rin yun, kesa naman wala. :)

after gaux's leaving, I now have 2 best friends in canada and one in new york. haha.

The internet does help a lot nga. Though actual letter writing is fun too :)

i can't even imagine how hard or painful it must be, jid. so i'm not even going to pretend.. i'm sure it hurts like a B*TCH...

what i can say for sure is that you are probably one of the strongest, most resilient people i know. it's true what i said about you being positive - you always look on the bright side, and i really admire that. so when i find myself in a really crappy situation, i stop and think of what you'd say. and it makes me feel better :)
