my first half-finished-ish greta story

So, I wrote this awhile ago but I never posted it. It's not technically finished, because it's organized alphabetically, and I only got to K before giving up. If I ever add to this, which I probably will at some point, I'll combine it with this post so I don't have a thousand pieces of one story all over the place

oh, wow. I really, really enjoyed reading this. I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't something nearly this pretty. You've got such a cool Greta voice, it's all manic and sweet and a lot like I imagine her, especially the bit about how she would steal a worm but not a family (♥!) and I can probably write nicer things than Ryan can and the entire last section.

also (not to be all, OH POOH POOH YOU DIDN'T DO THIS RIGHT but) when you got to the part with the cigs, I thought that maybe she should steal 'em because she doesn't want him to get cancer and die and then (instead of flushing them down the toilet like she initially thinks she should but then decides not to because she feels bad that it might be littering) she smokes them, for the aforementioned reason.

i don't know, i feel like the piece is about how greta steals things to benefit her and her only (since, if she wanted to benefit others, she wouldn't steal in the first place! lol).

i think it is definitely good that everytime i read something of your making and recycling, i want to write lovely poetry or just tell you that you are a lot of things which would require long explanations.

i love this and i love your greta and my favorite line is this: he stares at the cigarettes for so long that it's as if time has given up on her and moved on to other important things.

no, i am not ):
all i know is that this girl tennessee thomas is the drummer because i read that in an issue of nylon one time. i also know that her dad is the drummer for elvis costello because... well to me, that is general knowledge (also, i am obsessed with elvis costello, so.)
