it's kind of weird, the way they're so easy around each other despite weeks (months) without contact.
sooyoung is always the one who calls first, hollering at his bandmates to tell wooyoung to get his cute butt down here and pay for my ddukbokki!, without even asking if he was busy or tired or pissed-at-the-world in general.
(wooyoung goes anyway.)
"we should date" he says matter-of factly, as they slump against an oak tree, content with settling there for the rest of the night (it feels kind of right).
sooyoung blinks, before laughing, her eyes bright against the cool night. she bumps shoulders with him, smiling easily.
"you wish wooyoungie ~" she sing-songs, but wooyoung hears what she doesn't say.
do you really mean it?
"of course i do" he deadpans, attempting to keep a straight face. "after all, our names rhyme. it obviously means we're meant to be"
sooyoun laughs again, entangling his feet between hers.
"tiffany will kill me. you know she totally has a thing for you"
wooyoung shrugs.
"well - i have a thing for you"
"we'd be weird together, you know"
"i know"
"wooyoung and sooyoung. that sounds like some lame drama"
"netizens would call us something stupid like... woosoo"
"hm, yeah - that's weird"
wooyoung grins, lacing his fingers through hers. sooyoung leans into chest effortlessly, her soft hair tickling his chin but somehow it doesn't bother him.
(it should also probably bother him how easy it is for them to change from friends to something more in a matter of moments, but wooyoung kind of likes the fact that they can.)
