Does it have a blueish-purple tinge to it's colour?

Lavender does seem to get into everything from cosmetics to cleaning products, cookies and now tea! Fortunately it isn't one of those sneak-ingredients like paprika; things often tell you lavender is in them as a selling point (and with cleaning products the purple colour is a tell too).

Did the tea taste soapy? Perfume-y? How does lavender taste? Probably not soapy or like perfume but nice...

No, the tea was mostly tea colored. It tasted soothing and not too perfumey. I use lavendar in lots of things: shortbread, creme brulee, lemonade...
