Outside the window, the snow is white and the sky is slate, and in the distance they merge so perfectly that it feels as if the world is tucked into a cocoon woven solely to keep the sun out. How did you do that?! Within five words, you relaxed me so my shoulders fell a little less tense. By the first paragraph, you inspired me to want to write poetry. By the end of the entry, you brought back a memory that washed my list of things to do away. And you made me cherish you and thank my God that I know you.

I wish I was exaggerating, but I seriously am not.
Are you aware that many people in this world use five words at a time, all the time, and they do nothing for me?
