On May 27th, we're moving to the Village of Greendale. Our new apartment is in a community called Village in the Park and it is totally swanky with wood-laminate floors in the kitchen and a fitness center. Boxes: Having worked in the shipping industry, I can tell you that new boxes are expensive. Dumpster diving for boxes can be VERY good. Look for a recycle only dumpster behind a UPS Store, a Wal-Mart or a grocery store. Calling ahead to UPS Stores will generally earn you a carload, and most will even save thier extras specifically for you if you ask.

I wish I could, but I can't leave Aravine for that long (and a toddler on a road trip would be a very bad thing).
