Lifting herself off of the chair she'd been seated on, Hikaru tucked her necklace away under her shirt and moved quietly down the hallway, her device in hand.
She almost bumped into the hall table, she was so busy watching the device. Shutting it off she leaned against the door frame and slowly peeked inside. Fuu's departure wasn't much of a birthday gift, or then again maybe it was.. in a way. At least one of them was home. Still it would be sad to see her go, if she was really gone this time.]
Hey Umi. [She called from the doorway, not wanting to go in and disturb anything as if Fuu's room was now a museum exhibit.[

[Umi put away what nostalgia she'd allow to come over her while going over Fuu's belongings to greet Hikaru with as cloudless a smile as she could manage, given the circumstances.
It didn't feel right, to pretend they were happier than not over the fact the Wind Knight had returned home. Umi wanted her own behavior to let Hikaru know that. It was fine to feel a bit sad. But it was also true she'd always considered it half-good news, when someone she cared about finally made it out of that City.]
I-- ...was sort of wondering... [She got up to go meet the redhead by the doorway.] Thought it was okay to tidy stuff up a bit in here.
