just had my first lesson with my new teacher, which was really really cool. i hadn't really prepared anything because i didn't know what she would want to go over but i played some Handel pieces because i loooove them and my fingers behaved prety well considering i hadn't played them for months and months and months. the first thing she did was

yeah, my new teacher here totally redid my posture and embouchure and made me get different reeds and everything...hard but good. are you in any kind of ensembles these days?

i guess every teacher does things a little differently. luckily for us poor unsuspecting students! pft! :) and yeah, i'm in orchestra. we're having a concert in a few weeks. meh, so much to do!
