Being a part of a team is nice for feeling wanted, needed and accepted but there are people on the team who probably don't feel as accepted as you do. For example: The coach wants to build his team around your strength which is making it obvious to the other players that they aren't as good as you which in return makes them feel as though they aren't equal to you.

I always hated playing in team sports simply because the people who get all the attention from the coach usually had huge egos and it made the rest of the players feel like they didn't really need to try that much because the player with all the glory was winning the game, not everyone as a team. So yeah, that's part of why I lost interest in basketball.

Anyway, not trying to argue, just pointing out why I hate sports now lol.

I'm glad you have something that you love that much though. At least stuff like that works out for some of us. Everything you said makes sense though. :o)
