That was fun! Yum on all the angst. Although it seems a bit harsh that he HAS to marry Potter it DOES make sense that Sev would be in danger of being injured by a resentful coerced spouse or a spouse who's not the father of their child. But WHY is the wizard world so prejudiced against Soul Givers? Why can't they run their own lives?
And what punishment is Harry facing if there's a trial? It looks like there won't be one but what would happen? And you're right, NO ONE will believe Sev if it's his word against Harry's but I thought he did try to fight Harry a little bit, didn't he? I'll have to reread the beginning.
But THANK YOU for updating. And yeah I know I'm asking for a lot but - when do we get the next chapter? Can't wait!

It's not that the wizard world is prejudiced against Soul Givers. I perfer to think of it like protective custody. You know, kind of like we do to endangered species; sticking them in zoos, tagging them, etc. They must be protected because there are so few of them. I'll have more about that in the next chapter or two.
Sev didn't really fight because he'd learned early on in his life that fighting wouldn't do him any good and it just might earn extra punishment. He didn't want it, but he'd been trained to just take it. Sad, I know.
As for the rest of your questions, you'll just have to wait. They will be answered. I don't like to give anything away, keeps people on the edge that way!
Yes, I know, I'm very, very, very evil!
