That's ok. I just hope that you like it. Basically, it's a story about losing the love of your life and trying to cope with the loss. I don't really think that you have to be an expert in the Angel/Buffy universe. Just substitue any one of the characters for the A-Team and ya' got it! Although, with two of them being vampires, I wonder which role Face and Murdock would play. I feel a plot bunny coming on. Shoo, shoo! (holding cross and shotgun to hold off the invasion)
