been awhile...

Haven't done this sort of thing in a few weeks, but I went out and took the piss out of a few roaming vampires last night. Weren't even threatening anybody, which might make my actions seem a trifle on the mercenary side, but I don't really care at present. Whole bloody world's seemed off and wrong ever since Fred got taken over by her "wacky ( Read more... )

If matter could neither be created nor destroyed, could it simply be misplaced and thrown out of alignment? And if that were the case, could it be realigned?

Its such a shame that the one person who would be able to actually use these principles is the one they were lost to.

I don't want to give you false hope, but it seems too soon to accept any of this.

Well...if a log is "consumed" by fire, the matter is changed into radiant energy and carbon. It can't be reconstituted back into a new log...certainly not the same log it was before Although nobody wants to hear it and I don't really want to say it..."consumed by flames" does work for matter, so if the soul has matter (and I think your logic works, if maybe for one of those plasma-types of matter they keep discovering), it follows that it COULD be changed into a form that cannot be returned to the original.
But since when has anything in LA or Sunnydale followed the laws of physics? And Fred was all about testing the boundaries of and even transcending those laws whenever she could. Never give up hope...

Well, I think someone has already mentioned this, but while matter cannot be created or destroyed, it can be transformed, or used as energy to fuel a transformation. Supposing Illyria did use Fred's soul as a jump-start to rebirth, then I'm not sure how you could get it back together.

you haven't done anything supremely stupid, like firewalling Buffy's journal, have you? 'cause if you have, undo it, please? It's for your own good. Why is your current music "Hallelujah"? sounds a little cruel, unless you're being sarcastic.

I didn't really see what you want Spike to see, but I'll take it on faith, that you know what you're talking about.
I'm confused, but half the time I stay that way.
