Eh... why does inane_genius know things before me? I'm so hurt!! =(

That aside.. It might be easy to become wary after you've been hurt before, but whether you are wary or not, if things are to happen, they will. So for now, why not just trust your own feelings and let nature take its course?

Not sure if it sounds appropriate but... good luck! =)

inane_genius and I have come a pretty long way when it comes to discussing relationships. :)

i always trust my feelings but i'm slowing realising that it'll never suffice. it's my intuition that i can trust to shed light on the truth and this time, it's saying this will be another heartbreak just waiting to happen

Agree with likening a relationship to a trip.

i don't build a relationship with a "it will fail" mindset. By initiating something with someone, it's already an expression of hope. However, as the dynamics between two people evolves, my intuition will tell me stuff, mostly negative.

i'm always fighting it, always trying to ignore the pessimism. I too want to prove my pessimism wrong. Unfortunately, reality somehow always supports the negativity as it is now between me and mr someone-new.
