msnvwls here with you again, bringing you another fun little underappreciated gem from the 60s. This one's from The Ugly Ducklings, a Toronto garage band that existed from about 1965 to 1968. They released one LP, Somewhere Outside, in 1966 and also a handful of singles. While there have been quite a few CD reissues of their material, your best bet finding them on CD is with an eponymous release that looks like this:
It's got most of their recorded material on it (the band only had between 15-20 songs, and this collection has the 14 best), and the quality is mighty fine, even if the liner notes are lacking. Here's the second track off of it, their take on the Billy Boy Arnold classic "I Wish You Would."
