Hello Los Angeles; or Why I Left My Heart In Bakersfied

It's 8:23am and I'm in a small office I've never been before. The luxury of having a tech job with a company that has tons of satellite offices is that I can just up and leave once and go to another one for a while just to check up on those locations. That's hardcore, dude. :(.

That girl is very pretty. I don't wish to speak negatively of her, for I don't know her, but I would guess from you have written that she is not even looking for the same things you are -- from anyone. Either I'm wrong or you already know that, I'm sure.

I think isolation from it might be good for you. Sometimes it's what you need to begin a recovery process.

I whine about girls a lot in my LJ. So like... damn... Sorry dude. I do know what it's like when your friend "steals" the girl you like. I know what it's like also when it's not just a first meeting, when the friend knows, and does it anyway. It sucks.

She is pretty. And she is looking for what I am looking for. And as I've come to find out, she found it in one of my great friends Scot. This makes me happy because Scot deserves a woman like Heather and Heather will be good for Scot. This I know and I support, and love, them both.

Jared didn't steal her. I think I just put myself into that "friend" position way to early on and it didn't advance any farther. For Scot and Heather, they've had tension for a while between them. It's nice that Scot advanced and she accepted.

If I lose a girl to a man like Scot, I know it's in her best interest. That's just the type of man he is.
