Went to Hoover today from 6-7:15 to film with Joe's camera (don't tell him about the torrential downpour that happened in the middle of all this) Between the sunset and the violent lightning that came right after it, got some amazing footage + the damn gates lowering and the warning system, lots of lightning (until it got too close that is), etc ( Read more... )

It's a nice feeling when your parents realize that you can aspire to become something that they've frowned upon for a while. I set up dual monitors for my computer for editing... the parents don't mind a bit.

The weather... is amazing.

One thing I will never understand: How people can go through life without ever reading a piece of music or understanding the language. Also, people who never make an attempt at playing an instrument.
