iphone cell and wireless reception has gone to nil since installing latest OS upgrade. gotta take it into store i suppose ... anyone else heard of/having issues?

There's a big issue with iphone visual voicemails (and maybe texts?) being super delayed. Showing up hours or days after they were sent. Not affecting everyone, but definitely large chunks of people (like me, my voicemails are suck). Apple blames AT&T, AT&T blames Apple. I tried calling AT&T support yesterday, who transferred me to Apple, who told me to reset my network settings, which I did, and it worked when we tested it, but I've had two more vms show up late since then. And two show up immediately. Internet searches show lots of complaints, no resolutions.

Considering I've seen AT&T messages take up to 16 hours for delivery over the years I'm going to lay the blame on AT&T. Not that you'll ever get them to admit it.

You can put your iiPhone into recovery mode by turning it off and unplugging it. Then hold the home key down while you power it up until it shows you the screen showing you to plug it in. iTunes should then take it from there.
