After all the rain and thunder and warm darkness of the weekend, I was so happy to nest down for an early warm autumn, my favorite season. I spied my first woman-wearing-boots-and-skirt and happiness overtook me, the smells of all the grasses wet and trees transforming, hours and hours spent indoors creating cozy by the window with tea. I'm totally loving this weather, really. Kinda humid at one point, kinda cold the next.

Last night I had eggplant with spicy tomato sauce and mozzarella and it was like eating late summer in a bowl.

sounds yum! thanks to my veggie box consistently giving me the perfect ingredients, i've been making ratatouille for the first time (and a lot) this summer. dang, it's delish!
