One of the requirements to change your name legally is to indulge in the antiquated quaint practice of announcing yourself in the classified section of a printed on paper news paper. Apparently this is where creditors, ex-es and stalkers check regularly to keep in touch with the latest haps. Perhaps I can count this as "Being Published".

I still love hearing folks call us "The Horgs" or "The HotHousians", but neither felt right for a legal name : )

back in my adolescence i had planned on changing my name one day. but the day where my new name would pop up and speak to me never came. and at some point, i decided i liked having a name no one else had. it'll never feel like the right name for me, but oh well!
however, i'd love to know more about the legal process sometime when we can chat bout it :)
