General geek update.

Well, I think my first try at GMing went alright yesterday; I ran an EverQuest d20 one-shot. Double your geekdom, double your shame. It was a bit sloppy, couldn't get the party together for a long long time, but I think I pulled it out of the nosedive eventually. If nothing else, people got soda and junk food ( Read more... )

Be careful with archaeology - everything always seems just fine and dandy until you get pwned in the end. I've had this happen to me multiple times and it has happened to those around me as well. So watch yourself.

As for party cohesion, the first time I GMed a game it took upwards of two months to get the group together and 2 PCs were killed by PCs in the process. So a few hours isn't that bad.
