Why? Why would they attack you like this? You are the wronged party, and they continue to wrong you! Have they no shame? It is injury enough that you must be different to what you are because of the Animus, but for someone to take advantage of this and attack you - that is beyond the pale, Lord Saxon.

The longer one lives, the easier it becomes to hold grudges against similarly long lived creatures. Jack might be human, but he's not normal, either--not as old as me, but oh, he's a lot older than he looks. And he hasn't even had plastic surgery.
