That's a pretty niiiice cover letter (we're going over them now in my business class, wheeeeeee)! I like the way you sell yourself without being too pushy. I'm assuming the pertinent technical information, like your degree name, etc. is on the resume you'll attach, so no suggestions from me! :)
I realized that I put the word "I" in too much, which they say you shouldn't do that. So I might have to reword some things. But yes, my game degree is listed in my resume and stuff. ^_^
I say that you pretty much got it covered. On the cover letter I would refrain writing as if you ARE getting an interview -
I hope that my credentials will be of great value to your company, and I look forward to an interview at any time. I shall keep in contact so that I may know the status of your decision.
Do say that you want to keep in contact but I think there could be a better way to phrase that response above. Something like: I look forward in keeping in contact with you at a later date.
