Grad schools v2.0

While I haven't been doing much this summer, I have certainly been reading up on future plans.  I've been afraid for a while now that if I took time off between high school and college that I wouldn't go.  The same applies to between undergrad and grad school.  I'd always been taught that if I took a break, I wouldn't go back.  So, I've been busy ( Read more... )

Even if you don't end up enrolling in a program for the coming spring, you might want to go ahead and take the GRE ASAP so you can start applying for next fall. Also, I think it's probably easier to get funding if you apply for the fall semester rather than the spring; at this point, most departments have probably already doled out all their money and assistantships and such.

FUNDING. That's makes all kinds of sense. Also, I wrote this before I was asked to shoot a documentary that will air on MTV2. So, I think the plan now is to get an average job and apply for fall semester schoolin'. And that plan makes even more sense knowing that financial help will be easier to come by in the fall.
