Saw this cute video today where they asked bookstore employees to show the books they wish they could read for the first time. Obviously, we know where OUR minds would go, and then....

For my right hand, I might want to be able to read the whole series again for the first time.

Ugh. You’re right. See, this is why I should never make deals with gods, I’m bad at bargaining. What’s that line from the book, something like, “I promised a lifetime of service to a terrifying number of deities...” that’s me 😬

I took my kids to the library yesterday before it opened (#librarianmomperks) and a colleague was telling me about this video because she knows I'm a huge QT fan.

It would be fun to be able to read ALL the books for the first time, without having read any others in the series. I read QoA first, so I had a different experience than someone who'd read TT first. So I never even had that surprise ending with TT. It would be fun to read KoA without any background; you'd be right there with Costis in believing everything about a weak king.

Oh, that's a brilliant idea! I'm not sure I'd enjoy TaT and RotT as much without the knowledge of the previous books, but having the experience of reading each of the 1st four as the 1st is a really fascinating idea!

I love that the most enthusiastic one is the one that recced The Thief. And that is the ultimate book nerd question!
