It made me cry.

I currently have tears STREAMING down my face. It is 1:45 pm, I'm alone in my room in Sault Sainte Marie, crying about social injustice and poverty. What am I going to do about it? I don't know yet, but it sure as hell is making me think.

I've seen that video before and so happy that you posted the link to let me see it again.

It's stuff like that that made me go into anthropology. Obviously, not specifically that video, but things like it.

It really is awesome.

And if I think if you send that letter as is, you might have a fighting chance... ;)

I agree, its an awesome video.

However (and I say this as a really big fan of hers)...it did seem kind of weird since the two videos she made just before that one are fairly elaborate videos that probably set them back a few hundred bucks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B37LAr1DQBc

Just playing devil's advocate...the only reason I ever really thought about it is because on the Afterglow tour DVD, you can just hit a button and it shows all three videos in succession...and you're just like...hmmm.

And I wish you good luck with that letter. But isn't "Babel" not out yet? What if it sucks? We saw a trailer for it last night when we went to see the Science Of Sleep, so I'm assuming its not out yet.

I'm not even a Sarah McLachlan fan, but my feelings on the matter are, she might have made two really elaborate videos and then this fifteen dollar one, and she probably could have donated more, but at least she donated any at all, and at least she donated it to a wide variety of things, but I see where you're coming from, and I think that the video stands on its own as an effective piece of work.

THAT said, Babel is not out yet, but it won't suck. Just trust me. JUST trust me. AND DID YOU LIKE THE SCIENCE OF SLEEP?

Oh I agree, I just had to point it out, especially since when I saw the "Stupid" video I was like "my god, that's a lot of money for a music video that about 20 people will see, since they don't show videos on TV anymore." She does do a lot of charity work though...I have a lot of respect for her.

Science Of Sleep was...interesting. Not really sure what I thought of it yet.
