For the Record

I am a bastian of filth, and by that I mean I haven't done laundry in a couple of weeks, for lack of quarters. I could probably buy a washer and dryer for less than the accumulation of what it's costing me to do a load of laundry (2.25, for the record, wash and dry ( Read more... )

wow...i pay no attention to anything outside the bipartisan system, do i?

2.25 to do laundry? in chicago? cheaper to buy a washer and dryer? i paid 5.00 the other week for 2 loads, so columbia is doing no better. consider also: the cost of the washer/dryer AND the cost of electric/water that you would need to run these. if you're a socialist, get your concern about means of production and labor together! i mean... if you buy a sears washer/dryer, the money is probably going right back to chicago, but... come on.

you know you would go to that party and clink glasses with castro. he's so excited to be there.

He is. He's visibly excited, whereas Mao is just like "look, I have a beer cup."

You have to understand that I could easily get by with doing like 3 loads of laundry a week. I am a laundry machine...in the sense that I do a lot of laundry, not that I'm an actual *washing* maching.

you have to understand that i'm such a proponent of capitalism that i own enough clothing to get me through an entire month or more without needing to wash a single article of clothing.

stupid mao and his stupid apathetic weilding of his stupid beer cup.

OH HELL YES. Aren't they out of that shirt, though? I saw it a while back and it said it was discontinued!

It comes back every once in awhile... I think it gets reprinted more than any other t-shirt there, since it's hella awesome. I still want to see a revival of the I <3 COLOR color-blindness test shirt.

Yeah, I keep watching for it, but nothing. They have it in a girls' small, but it's American Apparel, which means it's like 23 inches long and 30 inches in the chest and sorry, no.

I didn't know it was a shirt! *points to icon*

Oh and totally get you on the laundry thing. I'm going on about a month and things are starting to pile up. I'm hoping that Friday or this weekend will be fruitful but I kinda doubt it.

hahaha laundry is so lame. So is going to psychology, which I should be doing, but instead I'm responding to livejournal comments. I haven't been to that class since the *last* test.

Yeah I'm totally skipping a class right now. And the worst part is I know 100% that I will be seeing the prof later on today. Oh well...I haven't missed a class yet.

2.25? What the fuck?

Come over to my place and do it for $1 a load (.50 each).

This, I will admit, is very tempting. I wonder what a 36 driver would say if I came lugging three loads of laundry onto the bus.
