Ok, so when I said I would be working for Simple Life, I completely lied. That's because the day after they offered me the job, a primary school/high school called and offered me an even better one. Now you're all reading the blog of The Only English Teacher in a high school that will remain nameless so that no one googles it and finds this entry

I'm really, really terrified. My experience isn't within a classroom, it's from the Peace Corps and at a Literacy Center in college. I mean, I'm GOOD at English and I understand grammar, but I've never been taught how to make lesson plans or anything like that, haha. Plus, I have a feeling my boss expects me to turn kids who can't speak at all into kids who are completely fluent within the next year. Eek.
