My daughter's boyfriend Nick is leaving for a juvenile detention center today. I hate to see it happen to him. It won't be a pleasant experience! But it will be good for her to start over. She really needs to focus on more important things like her schoolwork ( Read more... )

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you as well! We're operating on a low budget as much as possible. It's too cold for swimming so we don't really need to stay right on the beach. Close to your apartment is fine. Gas is up to $2.07 a gallon here this week. Not a good thing. Maria tries out for high school majorettes after school today (Fri). I hope she makes it or she'll be utterly destroyed!
