first of all I wanted everyone to read this email I got and I'm too lazy to send it to everyone so read it here
Hi Emily,
Our rights are under attack in the strangest places. Even
the National Park Service (NPS) is under pressure from
the Religious Right on the issue of gay rights. Thank you
for receiving this Gay Rights Alert from Care2. Please
act today to protect your right to protest:
http://www.care2.com/go/z/18129 In 1993 and 2000, hundreds of thousands of Americans -
including yours truly - marched on Washington in support
of gay and lesbian rights. These marches made history, and
we've built on their success ever since. But today, there
are some in the Religious Right who want to erase that
proud history.
Here's what's happening: last year, under pressure from
conservative religious groups, NPS promised to edit a
videotape that is shown to the public at the Lincoln
Memorial. What's on the video that needs to be edited out?
Scenes of American citizens protesting for gay rights,
abortion rights, and peace at the Lincoln Memorial,
including scenes from the 2000 Millenium March for Equality.
That's right - free speech and the right to peacefully
assemble are offensive behaviors to some and should not be
shown to the public. At least, if those who are speaking
and assembling are gay, pro-choice or anti-war.
Let's keep speaking out:
http://www.care2.com/go/z/18129 Even worse, NPS has spent $200,000 creating new versions
of this videotape to appease the Religious Right. And
recently, they pulled the existing videotape from the
Memorial, but have not shown the public what they plan on
releasing in its place.
Don't let the far-right erase our proud history of civil
rights protests and peaceful dissent in this country!
Please ask the National Park Service to include all of the
scenes from the original video, which show the wide range
of protest and activity at the Lincoln Memorial. Sign this
petition today:

http://www.care2.com/go/z/rebecca saw the grudge on friday... and then I watched the day after tomorrow which made me remember how much I absolutely love Jake Glyennhal... but anyways the Grudge is the scariest fucking movie ever. I am almost NEVER scared by movies but there were times I had to look away. I do want to see it again because Nikki and Tyler and whoever that other kid was were being so obnoxious that I jsut wanted to.... I dunno but I was really pissed.
I really really REALLY want to come home.
I cant stop crying today... I look like absolute hell but hey when do I not.
