I'll finally make my "report" on the NEWS+Ryo concerts I went to while in Japan...plus I'll probably end up babbling on about other things as well. ^^;; I wanted to put this up much earlier, but I got distracted by watching Hana Yori Dango...and I'm just generally lazy and easily distracted ( Read more... )

Ah! You're so lucky! I wasn't able to get tickets to a Johnny's show when I went to Japan (I saw Asian Kung-Fu Generation instead). I'm definitely going to try and get tickets for a show next time I go. I went to the Johnny's shop in Kyoto while I was there, but I actually missed the one in Harajuku. >.< I was so intent on finding a good gothic lolita outfit that I totally missed it. Sounds like you had a great time. You're very lucky. ^^

Wow, I would love to see an Asian Kung-Fu Generation concert!!! Whenever I go they're never on tour near where I am. :-( Hopefully one day you'll be able to see a Johnny's show and I'll be able to see AKF, haha. ^__^

Ha, that would be great. I'm hoping to get to see some Johnny's shows when I go back to Japan for study abroad. When do you go to Japan? I went in the summer and saw AKG in July at a festival they put on called Nano-Mugen Festival. It's something they do every year, so maybe try to go then if you can.

Hmm, I'll be back in Japan this summer hopefully....actually I'll be staying for 2 or 3 years hopefully to work as an English teacher, so I should be able to see AKG sometime during those years. ^__^

Where will you go to Japan during study abroad? I studied abroad in Japan last fall in Chiba-ken....definitely the best time of my life. ^__^

Wow sounds fun...And omg i would've died if Yamapi waved at me.

And 60-year-old at Ryo concert? Strange.

Yeah....I assume/hope the 60-year-old was there with her granddaughter, haha....unless I seriously heard him wrong. x__x But I was kinda surprised by how old some of the people there were...like some 40 year old women sat next to me during the first NEWS concert. ^^;;;;;;;

I laughed so many times while readings this. At first, about Kusano using the screens as a mirror, then with the unintentional Jimmy Mackey running gag, and Ryo just makes me laugh in general. Needless to say, this was really entertaining. X3

Thanks for writing this up! I found it thoroughly enjoyable (and I got to learn about how the stores work too). Since I won't get to go to Japan for a long time (if ever), it was really nice to get a taste of what it was like. :3

Yeah, I dunno what was with all of the Jimmy Mackey stuff, haha. If I really was a relative of his I hope I would have been with the VIPs or backstage!! ^__~
