iTunes still refuses to open. Poor Zoe (she's my laptop, for those who don't know the true depth of my love) has had threats made against her life. I've checked Apple support, Windows support, I've even googled "iTunes won't open", not to mention the things that I know to check just because I'm a slight computer dork, and nothing has worked. Did you try uninstalling it then re-installing it?

Also, if that doesn't work or you can do this anyway. Just check to make sure that all your firewall settings are allowing it to open. I believe, although not certain that you can add programs to allow. At least, with mine (I have symantec) it does block certain programs because they access the internet, but you just add them to a certain list.

Alternatively, I am sure that apple has a hotline you could call.

Yes, I've tried uninstalling and re-installing it. Four times. I've removed my firewall altogether (it's back up now though) and AND added iTunes to the allowed list. Finally, Apple will help, if it's under warranty, which, since it's a downloadable program, it doesn't exactly have.

Thanks though, and I'm sorry if this seemed rude or something, I'm just really frustrated with this. I'd really rather not wait until August when I go back to school to take it to the Help Desk.
