I finally got around to going to the zoo! getting there was like going to Jurassic park. you had to take a ferry for about 15 minutes, and the zoo was on this island that looked like it was all jungle. so much fun. jeffrey and I ended up spending almost 120$, but it was so worth it.
once we got to the zoo we had to go up this gondala thing. scary, but fun. we were stuck in one with old people who smelled like old people.
Jeffrey and I with the Koalas
REAL Koala's!
ME with a REAL Koala!
I'm not sure if this is a Kangaroo or a Wallabe... cute anyway. They jump exactly like the cartoons.
this was how close we were
there was a seal show that was wicked. all of them were so trained. one put a plastic bottle in the recycling, not the gargage. how thoughtful.
Giraffe. duh.
jeffrey and i are going to get an African Grey Parrot when we move back to Toronto. This is not an african grey parrot.
there was also a bird show that was better than the seal show. they had all these birds flying over the audience. i think they were poo trained too because none of them took a dump.
in regards to school - i'm doing fine. i got one assignment back so far. the grading system in this country is a lot different. Fail, Pass, Distinction, or High Distinction. I got a pass on the typography assignment. I think i should have done better, but out of the 100 people in the class, there were only 5 Distinctions. I'm now working on my "site maps and visual roughs" of the Vogue Magazine webpage i have to make. oh la la.
i'm going out tonight with Jeffrey and his work. they're having a free drinks and finger food staff party. oh la la.
